I'm putting my cards on Melinda and Jordin. One of them is definitely going to be the next American Idol. Both of them have been consistent from the beginning. Tonight's theme wasn't an easy one - it was 1960...so very big for somebody who is all of only 17 years, but it didn't stop Jordin from giving her best performance. And Melinda...she is already a star performer. There's just ain't any opportunity for Simon to criticize her, but to sing her praises. What a controlled voice, perfect pitch even if she is singing the most difficult song. Truly God gifted talent!
There were couple of disappointments and surprizes tonight - Lakisha's performance lacklusture, whereas Sanjaya, Haley and Chris proved that they could come back next week. Couldn't have agreed more after tonight's show that, it is the choice of songs that can make a difference. I do have a soft spot for Sanjaya even though he is not one of the best. Probably, it is his positive attitude. Simon has been brutal with him from the beginning, but that didn't seem to dampen this young lad's spirit. It takes some guts to be out there in front of billions of viewers and be told what a bad performer you are. Their positive attitude have already made them American Idols and winners! Something to learn from them...
Clearly, American Idol is one my fav shows http://www.americanidol.com/contestants/season6/

YouTube
I feel i'm now part of the 21st century:) I'm a blogger since yesterday, logged into YouTube today. Wow! I feel so much i'm there. Looks like days won't be far, when practically everythings going to be available or done online. As you are aware, Google is already making everything possible and convinient through its search engine. But that leaves me with a thought, will that blog/block future generations' creativity, competitiveness and eagerness to do things differently?
The world is becoming one BIG TEMPLATE. In this new age will there be any opportunity to exercising our BRAINS?
I'm still traditional in my thinking, but i do feel privileged, that i belong to both the eras where i'd to struggle to find information, knowledge and be original; and where information is available at the click of my computer.

My first posting
I never ever dreamt that i will be creating my own blog one day. But, 'Life is like that'...at least for me. I'm surrounded by surprizes (good and bad) uncertainties, ambiguities and tons of 'Ifs' and 'buts'. I guess, that's the beauty of life. If everything is so obvious, then life will be just one big maintenance work. You may plan or desire for something, but the end result could be otherwise. Do i regret for things that has not happened the way i wanted them to be? Of course, i do! I would be dishonest, if i say, i don't. But some things are just not meant to be and in our hands...while some can be worked on...just the way i did with my BLOG... :)
